My Career went like this:

For 20 years, I worked in Human Resources, navigating the corporate world with dedication. I always excelled in presenting and creating promotional videos for new global HR launches, often working so much overtime and weekends to over deliver and make the launch successful.

When I took leave to care for my child, I dreaded returning to the daily grind. The early mornings, asking the childminder to work extra so I could be at work, rushing my children to school, and feeling perpetually stressed were taking a toll on my well-being.

It was a hamster wheel of deadlines and constant pressure, leaving little time for me or my family.

Then the entrepreneurship bug bit me...

I yearned for a life where I didn't have to request time off or feel guilty for being with my child when he was sick. I dreamed of financial independence, a flexible schedule, and the freedom to infuse my creativity into an online business. I envisioned a career where I could work from anywhere, take vacations at will, and escape the stress of a traditional 9-5 job.

But I also loved my job and had worked hard for my career, but something had to give !! My son was asking if he could set up a website and sell stuff and asked for my help, we looked into a few things and I discovered digital marketing, I was intrigued that you could learn how to create digital products and profit online from something you have made, I was fascinated, curious, and hooked !

Then I tried all the things that, well, didn't work...

The early stages were full of challenges. I had no support, no mentor, and no clear direction. Comparison was a constant threat, and understanding the back end of online business seemed harder than getting your teenager to clean their room. Six months in, with no sales and a failing social media presence, I hit rock bottom.

My email campaign had flopped, and every strategy I tried, from reselling courses to posting on social media, seemed pointless. These setbacks were disheartening, but they taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and adaptability.

I immersed myself in learning everything I could about these strategies. I applied these newfound skills to a new venture—an online fitness coaching business. I used social media to create engaging content, optimized my website for search engines, and built an email list to nurture leads.

The results were astounding. My client base grew rapidly, and my revenue soared. I realized the power of digital marketing to reach a vast audience and convert interest into sales. This success story was not just a fluke; it was the result of strategic planning, consistent effort, and leveraging the right tools.
